FAI thanks Incredible Ireland Fans.

Ireland may have been beaten by reigning European and world champions Spain at Euro 2012 last night but their fans have been widely praised for the reception they gave both teams during and after the game.

After last nights game the Football Association Of Ireland thanked the fans on the FAI website.

CEO of the Football Association of Ireland John Delaney said 'The Irish fans have made many sacrifices to follow our squad and have been absolutely amazing. The abiding memory that we will take away from this match will be the many thousands of Irish fans singing 'Fields Of Athenry' right up to and beyond the final whistle. They are a credit to our game and to our country. On behalf of the FAI, the squad and management team I would like to thank them for their incredible support.'

All at Dance To Tipperary would like to thank the fans for supporting Ole, Ole, Ole EURO 2012 Remix since its release last Friday and for embracing the Ole, Ole, Ole EURO 2012 Remix App.

Dance To Tipperary's The Fields Of Athenry (Celtic F. C. Mix) was one of the best selling singles of the year in Ireland when released in 2001 and Dance To Tipperary are honoured to have performed the song at Celtic Park Stadium, Glasgow and Lansdowne Road Stadium, Dublin.

As was tweeted after the EURO 2012 Spain game @dancetotipp on Twitter 'Inspiring Irish fans for sure'.
