DANCE TO TIPPERARY release surprise single "MIDNIGHT MADONNA" (2021 Vinyl Edit).

Following the release last Friday March 5th of the 20 FOR 20 Album Special Vinyl Edition on bright green double vinyl, Dance To Tipperary have today released a surprise single taken from that double album.

Titled MIDNIGHT MADONNA (2021 Vinyl Edit) even in "vinyl edited" form the track comes in at 5mins and 40 seconds!

Midnight Madonna was written by Michael Loftus about Dance To Tipperary's accordion player Trisha Kelly. Michael was lead singer of renowned punk rockers The Surgeons and penned their legendary track "Sid Never Did It" relating to Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen. Micheal is also one of the writers of the title track from Dance To Tipperary's second studio album 'Email At The Cliffs Of Moher'.

Initially released on that anticipatory album, Midnight Madonna is an indie dance/Celtic rock/ trad banger with singalong lyrics. "She's a Midnight Madonna a cool Cailin". The result is a 5 minute and 40-second audio journey with a riveting indie dance Celtic rock music masterclass that ends with "Oh what a strange trip it's been"! Adding to the Dance To Tipperary genre, sounds and groove on this original recording alongside Y-Tribes programming is the acclaimed percussionist Basil Isaac "Black2Basic" who is best known as the face of Barcardi (Barcardi B Bar) at festivals as well as playing and recording with many great artists including Basement Jaxx and with one his oldest friends Maxi Jazz from Faithless.

Midnight Madonna was edited and remastered by Christian Wright at Abbey Road Studios London for inclusion on the 20 FOR 20 Album Special Vinyl Edition.

Trisha Kelly is originally from Cape Clear, Co. Cork and the cover artwork features an image of Cape Clear.

Midnight Madonna (2021 Vinyl Edit) is available now on all digital formats and also on Dance To Tipperary 20 FOR 20 Special Vinyl Edition album.
