DANCE TO TIPPERARY ANNOUNCE RELEASE OF SPECIAL VINYL EDITION OF

‘20 FOR 20’ ALBUM

GREEN VINYL EDITION TO BE RELEASED FOR ST. PATRICK’S DAY 2021

Dance To Tipperary today announce the release of a special vinyl edition of their 20 For 20 album.

The double vinyl set will be released on 180 gram green vinyl on 5th March, 2021 in time for St. Patrick's Day.

The release of the album will be preceded by the release of a new single in February, 2021.

The very special 12" double vinyl album was mastered at Abbey Road Studios. The album features a selection of Dance To Tipperary's most significant tracks, hit and favourites over the past 20 years including Ride On, In The Ghetto, The Fields Of Athenry (Celtic FC Mix), The Foxhunters, Olé, Olé, Olé 2002 (We're Up For The Cup), Great Moments With You, Tonight Is What It Means To Be Young, Return To Me and their hugely popular remix of Fionnghuala by Anúna (the choir from Riverdance) featuring John McGlynn. The album will also feature three bonus tracks; What Kind Of World (Would This World Be), Never Let It Go and Always Remember The Good Times.

Dance To Tipperary are a music genre unto themselves. Their unique combination of thumping rhythms, dub bass lines and rock influences overlaid with traditional references to their Irish roots alongside stunning vocals established them as one of the most unique and entertaining live Irish music acts of the past twenty years. During their long and productive career Dance To Tipperary have recorded four studio albums, notched up fifteen Top 30 singles and have had a string of high profile appearances along the way.

Over the years Dance To Tipperary kept innovating bringing in rock influences, soul, country and more making them one of Irish music's best chameleons.

In March of 2020 Dance To Tipperary began celebrating the 20th anniversary since the release of their first album with the digital release of their ‘20 For 20’ album and a special 20th anniversary edition of their self-titled debut album. The albums were released as scheduled. Unfortunately special 20 year celebration concerts and live appearances being planned had to be postponed due to Covid-19.

Despite these necessary changes to plans, Dance To Tipperary did their best to celebrate 20 years and helped and supported some in need along the way in these extraordinarily strange and difficult times. The single ‘What Kind Of World’, penned by legendary songwriter Diane Warren, was released during July, 2020 and a further single ‘Never Let It Go’ was released during October 2020.

The full Dance To Tipperary catalogue was also made available on all streaming platforms in all countries around the world for the first time.

The forthcoming double LP set comes pressed on bright green heavy weight 12" vinyl and features a gatefold package with printed inner sleeves which will prominently feature Dance To Tipperary's eye-catching latest logo.

A must for all collectors and fans of Dance To Tipperary, Celtic and Irish music alike!

The official launch will take place in January 2021.
